RELATIONSHIP QUESTION

To be completely honest there is no most important subject to have in a relationship. You need a balance of all these virtues in order to have a true close-knit relationship. At least that's what I think.
Agreed with Hades...
The truth is that you both just have to be compatible, there's no need to struggle to make a relationship work if both parties are not happy.
I'm not saying that if there is a misunderstanding you should give up on your partner, but if you are not happy and when you look into the future your heart tells you the truth, why continue to suffer?
My two cents...
Most important thing to have in a relationship is the ability to love yourself. When you begin to rely on another to create your happiness, they will always disappoint you, and then the relationship begins to crumble.
Agree with Marcin..
Healthy and Happy relationships dont feel the need to maintain these qualities. Honesty, Trust, Respect and love are inbuilt as the relationship grows.
However, 2 happy partners = happy relationship. Love is sharing of 2 individuals. If these individuals are unhappy separately they cannot create happiness together.

Friendship is a vital part of any relationship and helps a
relationship grow and mature. Being a friend means to accept the other person
with his core qualities that are inseparable. Surpassing the stages from casual acquaintance to being friends needs a
lot of patience and time.
I think a relationship consists of all plus more. It should always be growing and these virtues will build off of one another, leading to the strongest, but it doesn't mean one is needed more than the other, it just depends on step in the relationship you are. Most of the time start building with friendship first then the others fall into place, like honesty, then trust, then love. There is order in occurance but not in importance. There will not be love without all the others to build it, and there would not be trust without honesty.
