Our hands are the best tools nature has gifted us with. They work, they pray, they greet, they say! Yes they say a lot about you and your future through brilliant interfaces known as palms! Wondering what I am talking about? I am talking about palm reading, an art that is believed to have originated in India around 5000 years ago. It became popular in China and later spread to Europe and other parts of the world. 

Chinese palm reading classifies the different kinds of palms into specific types. Soft skin of the palms indicates that you have a good taste and enjoy a luxurious lifestyle. People, who take risks, enjoy accepting challenges show worn palm skin texture.  Impulsive and self-confident people have smooth fingers while the creative thoughtful people lack the smoothness in their fingers. People with slender hands are believed to befit wood and water industries while metal and earth industries suit people with square shaped palms. People with heavy palms, which are linked with the Earth element, can do well in fire industries. Long nails exhibit an artistic nature, spoon shaped nails say that you always choose the best in life. Born leaders have their index finger taller than their ring finger while people with ring fingers longer than index fingers are good marketers of themselves.

I hope most of you know which of your palm lines are given which names. So let me directly tell you what these lines indicate. You headline, if short, don\'t take risks in life, if its long, that\'s great. It says that you have a good intellectual ability. If your heart line has an upward split, you are going to have a happy marriage. In case it has a downward split, you may end up having short romances throughout life. Splits in your lifeline are indicative of brief illnesses.

But I have some questions about this and they are unanswered till today. See if you can find their answers. My first doubt is that, not both of your palm lines look alike. (At least mine don\'t!) Then which palm to read and why? External physical factors can influence the shape or nature of your palms. Then how can palm lines guide you? Are there no two people in the world, whose palm lines look alike? Does, having similar shaped palms and fingers indicate a similarity in the pattern of life? Is similarity in palms indicative of similar personas? I have my doubts.
